1. Ground turkey 2 pounds
2. Stewed tomatoes 1 (28 ounce) can
3. Celery, chopped 3 stalks
4. Kidney beans, undrained 1 (15 ounce) can
5. Pinto beans, undrained 1 (15 ounce) can
6. White onion, chopped 1 ½
7. Green bell pepper, chopped 1
8. Red bell pepper, chopped 1
9. Water, or as needed 1 cup
10. Tomato paste 1 (6 ounce) can
11. Jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced 1
12. White sugar 1 tablespoon
13. Crushed garlic 1 teaspoon
14. Chili powder 1 tablespoon
15. Salt and ground black pepper to taste 1 tablespoon

1 . Stage

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground turkey in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.

2 . Stage

Combine ground turkey, stewed tomatoes, celery, kidney beans, pinto beans, white onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, water, tomato paste, jalapeno pepper, sugar, and garlic in a slow cooker; season with chili powder, salt, and pepper.

Cook on High for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
