1. 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed -
2. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley -
3. 3 tablespoons butter, melted -
4. 2 tablespoons minced chives -
5. 2 tablespoons lemon juice -
6. 1 teaspoon salt -
7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
8. Chopped toasted walnuts, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Instant Pot Green Beans

1. Stage

Place a steamer basket and 1 cup of water in a 6-quart electric pressure cooker or Instant Pot. Set the green beans in the basket. Lock the lid, and close the pressure-release valve. Adjust to pressure-cook the beans on high for one minute. When they're done, carefully quick-release the pressure, then drain the water.

2. Stage

Return the cooked beans to the pressure cooker. Add the parsley, butter, chives, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and toss to coat evenly. Serve sprinkled with chopped walnuts.
