How to cook deliciously - Marshmallow
1 . Stage
Soak the gelatin in 150 ml. water. In a saucepan mix sugar + 150 ml. water + honey, cook over high heat for 12 minutes. Remove the orange zest and squeeze the juice.
2 . Stage
Heat the gelatin, stir until smooth, add the vanilla sugar. Pour into the whipping tin. Carefully, thinly pour the syrup into the gelatin, not stopping beating.
3 . Stage
Add the zest and orange juice. Beat for 15 minutes, until white and thickened. The mass will increase in volume. The mass should hold its shape. Preferably beat in a cool place.
4 . Stage
In a deep mold, lined with foil, grease with vegetable oil (just a little). Mix powdered sugar and a dollop of starch. Sprinkle the bottom of the form with 3 tablespoons of this mixture. Pour the marshmallow mass. Spread evenly and leave in the fridge for 6 hours (or better overnight). It is advisable to cover the top (I had a large cutting board).
5 . Stage
Sprinkle the remaining starch + powder mixture on a table or cutting board and place the marshmallows on top.
6 . Stage
Remove the foil and cut into squares (or any other shape you want) with scissors soaked in oil.
7 . Stage
Roll all the squares in the rest of the mixture and it's done.
8 . Stage
Please, come to the table. Can be served with hot chocolate and coffee. Store, until serving, in the refrigerator!!!
