2. Diced tomatoes, drained - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
3. Onion, chopped - 1
4. Green bell pepper, chopped - ½
5. Tomato sauce - 1 (8 ounce) can
6. Orange juice - ½ cup
7. Dry white wine - ½ cup
8. Canned mushrooms - 2 ½ ounces
9. Sliced black olives - ¼ cup
10. Bay leaves - 2
11. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
12. Dried basil - 1 teaspoon
13. Fennel seed, crushed - ¼ teaspoon
14. Ground black pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
15. Medium shrimp - peeled and deveined - 1 pound
16. Cod fillets, cubed - 1 pound

How to cook deliciously - Mediterranean Fish Soup

1. Stage

Place broth, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, tomato sauce, orange juice, wine, mushrooms, olives, bay leaves, garlic, basil, fennel seed, and black pepper into a slow cooker. Cook on Low until vegetables are crisp-tender, 4 to 4 1/2 hours.

2. Stage

Stir in shrimp and cod. Continue cooking until shrimp are opaque, 15 to 30 minutes. Discard bay leaves before serving.
