This recipe makes a 9x9-inch pan of fudge. To start, line this square pan with foil and then grease with 1-1/2 teaspoons of butter.

In a large, microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and the rest of the butter for 60 seconds. Give the mix a stir, and continue to microwave in 30-second bursts until fully melted and smooth. Then stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. Stage
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm. Once set, use the foil to lift the candy out of the pan. Use a sharp knife to cut the fudge into squares. Stash the fudge in an airtight container in the fridge.
