1. 1 lb. ground beef -
2. 3 cloves garlic, chopped and divided -
3. 2 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley, plus more for garnish -
4. Kosher salt -
5. Freshly ground black pepper -
6. 1 tbsp. canola oil -
7. 1 c. marinara -
8. 1/4 c. butter -
9. 4 slices white bread -
10. 4 slices mozzarella -
11. 1/2 c. pepperoni -

How to cook deliciously - Pizza Patty Melts

1. Stage

Make patties: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, 2 cloves garlic, and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Mix together well, then form 4 patties with your hands.

In a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Cook patties, flipping once, until medium, 6 minutes per side. Drain fat.

Pour marinara into skillet and let simmer, then in a second large skillet, melt butter. Add remaining garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Add bread and cook until golden.

Heat broiler. Meanwhile, assemble patty melts: On a baking sheet, add bread. Top with a burger patty, sauce, and a slice of mozzarella. Add pepperoni and broil until cheese is melted and pepperoni is crispy, 3 minutes.

Garnish with parsley and serve.
