1. 1 c. all-purpose flour -
2. 1 lg. egg, lightly beaten -
3. 1 c. panko breadcrumbs -
4. Kosher salt -
5. Black pepper -
6. 1 avocado, sliced -
7. 1 tbsp. olive oil -
8. 1 lb. ground beef -
9. 1 1/2 tbsp. butter -
10. 3 slices cheddar -
11. 1 head lettuce -
12. 1 lg. tomato -
13. 3 Hamburger buns -
14. 1 tbsp. mayo -
15. Lettuce, for serving -
16. Tomato, for serving -

How to cook deliciously - BLT Burger with Fried Avocado

1. Stage

Arrange three bowls : one with flour, one with egg, and one with Panko. Season flour and panko with salt and pepper.

2. Stage

Working one slice at a time, dredge avocado in flour, egg mixture, and Panko, coating completely. Transfer on a plate until ready to fry.

Heat olive oil over medium heat and fry avocado until golden brown, 1 minute per side.

Make the burgers: in a large skillet, fry bacon over medium-high heat until crisp. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate.

Form beef into three equal-sized patties. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter. Add burgers and cook 3 minutes, then flip. Top with cheese and cook 3 minutes more for medium rare.
