6. 2 tsp. garlic powder
7. 1/4 c. pale ale beer (we love Sierra Nevada)
8. Kosher salt
9. Freshly ground black pepper
10. 1 (16.3-oz.) can refrigerated biscuits
11. 2 tbsp. baking soda
12. 1 large egg, mixed with 1 tablespoon water, for brushing biscuits
13. Coarse salt
