1. Pancake mix, plus ingredients called for on box -
2. 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract -
3. Butter for pan  -
4. 6 strawberries, stem side cut -
5. Whipped topping -
6. Powdered sugar, for serving -
7. Maple syrup, for serving -

How to cook deliciously - Santa Hat Pancakes

1. Stage

In a large bowl, prepare pancake mix according to package directions. Stir in vanilla. For easy pouring, transfer batter to a clean squeeze bottle.

2. Stage

In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Squeeze small rounds of batter into pan and cook until bubbles form in batter and begin to pop, about 1 minute. Flip and cook until golden on the other side, about 1 minute more. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

3. Stage

On a serving platter, stack three mini pancakes. Spread whipped topping on top, then place a strawberry on top. Add a tiny dollop of whipped topping to the tip of the strawberry.

4. Stage

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
