2. Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
3. Skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces - 4 large
4. Onion, diced - 1
5. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
6. Tomato paste - 1 (6 ounce) can
7. Curry paste - 1 tablespoon
8. Curry powder - 2 teaspoons
9. Tandoori masala - 2 teaspoons
10. Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
11. Green cardamom pods - 15
12. Coconut milk - 1 (14 ounce) can
13. Low-fat plain yogurt - 1 cup
14. Salt to taste - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Butter Chicken

1. Stage

Heat butter and vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in chicken, onion, and garlic. Cook and stir until onion has softened and turned translucent, about 10 minutes. Stir in tomato paste, curry paste, curry powder, tandoori masala, and garam masala until no lumps of tomato paste remain.

Pour mixture into a slow cooker; stir in cardamom pods, coconut milk, and yogurt. Season with salt.
