1. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 2 inch pieces - 1 pound
2. Garlic, chopped - 4 cloves
3. Onion, chopped - 1 large
4. Diced tomatoes - 1 (28 ounce) can
5. Fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced - 3
6. Garbanzo beans, drained - 1 (15 ounce) can
7. Chopped dried apricots - 1 cup
8. Ground cumin - 2 teaspoons
9. Ground ginger - 1 teaspoon
10. Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
11. Ground coriander - ½ teaspoon
12. Cayenne pepper - ½ teaspoon
13. Chicken broth - 2 cups
14. Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
15. Water - 1 tablespoon
16. Chopped fresh cilantro - 3 tablespoons
17. Slivered almonds, toasted - ⅓ cup

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken

1. Stage

Place chicken in the bottom of a slow cooker. Add the garlic, onion, tomatoes, peaches, garbanzo beans, dried apricots, cumin, ginger, cinnamon, coriander, and cayenne pepper. Pour in the chicken broth. Cook on Low for 5 hours.

2. Stage

Remove the chicken and keep warm. Mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker. Cook on High until the sauce has thickened, about 15 minutes. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and heat through. Top with fresh cilantro and almonds before serving.
