5. Red bell pepper, seeded and chopped - 1
6. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
7. Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
8. Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
9. Kosher salt - ½ teaspoon
10. Water - 1 cup
11. Orange juice - ½ cup

1. Stage

Place sweet potatoes in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, paprika, and salt. Pour in water and orange juice. Cover.
