Ingredients for - Fish in a Red Sauce

1. Olive oil - ¼ cup
2. Fresh parsley, minced - ¼ cup
3. Pimento, chopped - 8 ounces
4. Salt and pepper -
5. Tomato puree - 1 (28 ounce) can
6. Tomatoes, chopped - 3
7. Carrot, sliced - 2
8. Celery, sliced - 2 strips
9. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
10. Water -
11. Fresh lemon juice - 3 tablespoons
12. Cod - 6 (3 ounce) fillets
13. White sugar - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Fish in a Red Sauce

1. Stage

In a large saucepan, combine the parsley, pimento, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, and fresh tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Add carrots, celery and garlic. Cook until carrots are cooked, but still firm.

2. Stage

Stir in a little water and juice of 1 lemon. Place fish into pan without stirring. Baste fish with liquid. Add sugar.

When the fish is cooked, remove from heat. Let cool and serve cold
