Ingredients for - Twenty-Four Hour Salad

1. Shredded iceberg lettuce - 6 cups
2. Chopped celery - ½ cup
3. Chopped green bell pepper - ½ cup
4. Chopped onions - ½ cup
5. Frozen green peas, thawed and drained - ½ cup
6. Mayonnaise - 1 ½ cups
7. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
8. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 cups
9. Bacon bits - 1 (3 ounce) can

How to cook deliciously - Twenty-Four Hour Salad

1. Stage

In a large transparent bowl, layer lettuce, celery, bell peppers, onions, peas, mayonnaise, sugar and cheese. Sprinkle bacon bits evenly over the top of the salad.

2. Stage

Cover bowl, and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
