1. White sugar - ½ cup
2. Butter, softened - ¼ cup
3. All-purpose flour - 1 cup
4. Baking powder - 2 teaspoons
5. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
6. Milk - ½ cup
7. Fresh peaches, pitted and sliced - 2 cups
8. White sugar - ¼ cup
9. Ground cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
10. Water - 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Classic Peach Cobbler

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly butter a 9x9-inch glass baking dish.

In a large bowl, cream 1/2 cup sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Spread mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Spoon sliced peaches over batter. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Pour water over the top.
