Ingredients for - Applesauce Brownies I

1. White sugar - 1 ½ cups
2. Margarine - ½ cup
3. Eggs - 2
4. Unsweetened cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
5. Salt - 1 ½ teaspoons
6. Applesauce - 2 cups
7. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
9. All-purpose flour - 2 cups
10. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
11. Semisweet chocolate chips - 1 cup
12. Chopped walnuts - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Applesauce Brownies I

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Stage

Cream 1 1/2 cups sugar and margarine. Add eggs. Sift cocoa, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and flour ingredients and add to sugar mixture, alternately with applesauce. Pour into 10-1/2 X 15-1/2 inch jelly roll pan.

3. Stage

Combine 2 tablespoon sugar, 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped nuts. Sprinkle over batter. Bake for 30 minutes.
