1. Butter, softened - ½ cup
2. White sugar - ¾ cup
3. Packed brown sugar - ¾ cup
4. Eggs - 2
5. Mashed, cooked butternut squash - 1 ½ cups
6. All-purpose flour - 2 ½ cups
7. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
8. Ground cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
9. Salt - ½ teaspoon
10. Ground nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
11. Ground ginger - ¼ teaspoon
12. Raisins - 1 cup
13. Chopped pecans - 1 ½ cups
14. Ground allspice - ¼ teaspoon
15. Baking powder - 2 ½ teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Squash Cookies

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2. Stage

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in the eggs and squash. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and spices; add to mixture, stirring until well blended. Stir in raisins and nuts. Spoon onto cookie sheets spacing cookies 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until edges are golden.
