5. Mashed, cooked butternut squash 1 ½ cups
6. All-purpose flour 2 ½ cups
7. Baking soda 1 teaspoon
8. Ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons
9. Salt ½ teaspoon
10. Ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon
11. Ground ginger ¼ teaspoon
12. Raisins 1 cup
13. Chopped pecans 1 ½ cups
14. Ground allspice ¼ teaspoon
15. Baking powder 2 ½ teaspoons

How to cook deliciously - Squash Cookies

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

2 . Stage

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in the eggs and squash. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and spices; add to mixture, stirring until well blended. Stir in raisins and nuts. Spoon onto cookie sheets spacing cookies 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until edges are golden.
