1. 6 tablespoons butter, softened -

6. 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour -
7. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder -
8. 1/2 teaspoon salt -

10. 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened -
11. 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar -
12. 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries -
13. 1 cup sugar -
14. 1/4 cup cornstarch -
15. 2 cups crushed strawberries -

How to cook deliciously - Strawberry Pizza

1. Stage

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and extracts. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Test Kitchen Tip: You can certainly use a standard whisk to cream the butter and sugar, but be prepared for an arm workout. It can take 5-7 minutes to properly cream butter and sugar. If you're not feeling up to it, check out our favorite hand mixer models.

On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 13-inch circle. Transfer dough to an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan. Build up the edges slightly.

Bake at 350°F for 18 to 22 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely.

In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar together until smooth. Spread the mixture in an even layer over the crust. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top. Editor's Tip: For a showstopper look, arrange the strawberry slices in a circular pattern.

In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch and crushed berries until blended. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Allow to cool slightly. Spoon the glaze over the sliced strawberries. Refrigerate the strawberry pizza until serving.
