1. Red cabbage, shredded - 1 medium head
2. Water - 1 quart
3. Salt to taste - 1 quart
4. Brown sugar - ½ cup
5. Caraway seeds - 1 tablespoon
6. Vinegar - ½ cup
7. Butter - ¼ cup

How to cook deliciously - Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage

1. Stage

Place cabbage in a medium saucepan with water and salt, and bring to a boil. Stir in brown sugar and caraway seeds. Cook 12 minutes, or until cabbage is tender; drain.
