Ingredients for - Tteokbokki (Korean Spicy Rice Cakes)

1. Water 3 cups
2. Dried anchovies, or more to taste 2
3. Chile paste 3 tablespoons
4. White sugar 2 tablespoons
5. Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
6. Corn syrup 1 tablespoon
7. Korean fish cakes, sliced 2
8. Onion, thickly sliced ½
9. Spring onion, thickly sliced 1

How to cook deliciously - Tteokbokki (Korean Spicy Rice Cakes)

1 . Stage

Combine water and anchovies in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove anchovies.

2 . Stage

Combine chile paste, sugar, soy sauce, and corn syrup in a bowl to make the sauce.

3 . Stage

Add rice cakes and onion to the anchovy water in the saucepan. Add sauce. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add spring onion and boil 3 minutes more.
