7. Tomato paste 1 ½ (6 ounce) cans
8. Onion, chopped 1
9. Sliced fresh mushrooms ½ pound
10. Red wine ½ cup
11. Green bell pepper, chopped ½
12. Garlic, minced 4 cloves
13. White sugar 1 ½ teaspoons
14. Worcestershire sauce ½ teaspoon
15. Bitters (such as Angostura®) ½ teaspoon
16. Cayenne pepper 1 pinch

Melt butter with the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Cook and stir veal, beef, and pork in the butter mixture until completely browned, about 10 minutes.
