2. Butter-flavored cooking spray 3 pounds
3. Butter, or more if needed ¼ cup
4. Milk, or more as needed ¼ cup
5. Salt and pepper to taste ¼ cup
6. Sour cream 4 ounces
7. Shredded Cheddar cheese, divided 1 cup
8. Bacon, cooked and crumbled ¼ pound
9. Chopped fresh chives (Optional) 1 tablespoon

1 . Stage

Place peeled potatoes in a large pot of water and bring to a boil. Boil until fork tender, 20 to 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 3-quart casserole dish with butter spray.
