1. 1/4 cup butter, softened -
2. 1 cup packed brown sugar -
3. 1 large egg -
4. 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats -
5. 1/2 cup apple butter -
6. 1 cup all-purpose flour -
7. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda -
8. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder -
9. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
10. 2 tablespoons whole milk -
11. 1/2 cup chopped nuts -
12. 1/2 cup raisins -

How to cook deliciously - Apple Butter Cookies

1. Stage

In a bowl or stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs, oats and apple butter. In a smaller bowl, combine the dry ingredients and gradually add these to the creamed mixture along with the milk. Beat well until fully blended. Stir in the nuts and raisins. Cover and refrigerate until easy to handle, or up to one hour.

2. Stage

Preheat oven to 350°F. Drop chilled dough, by the teaspoonfuls, onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake them for 15 minutes, or until set. Remove to wire racks to cool.
