1. Fat-free milk - 3 cups
2. Firmly packed brown sugar - 3 tablespoons
3. Ground cinnamon - ¾ teaspoon
4. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
5. Ground nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
6. Quaker® Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned, uncooked) - 2 cups
7. Mashed ripe bananas - 1 cup
8. Coarsely chopped toasted pecans - 2 tablespoons
9. Plain or vanilla non-fat yogurt - 1 teaspoon
10. Banana slices - 1 small
11. Pecan halves - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Banana Bread Oatmeal

1. Stage

Bring milk, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg to a gentle boil in a medium saucepan (watch carefully); stir in oats. Return to boil; reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until most of liquid is absorbed, about 1 minute for quick oats and 5 minutes for old-fashioned oats.

Remove oatmeal from heat. Stir in mashed bananas and pecans.

Spoon oatmeal into 6 cereal bowls.

Top with yogurt, sliced bananas, and pecan halves, if desired.
