1. 2 tbsp. butter -
2. 2 small shallots, minced -
3. 2 tsp.  freshly chopped thyme -
4. Kosher salt -
5. Freshly ground black pepper -
6. 2 pt. cherry tomatoes -
7. 3/4 c. heavy cream  -
8. 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan -
9. 1 c. shredded mozzarella -
10. 1/4 c. freshly sliced basil -
11. sliced baguette, for serving -

How to cook deliciously - Cheesy Tomato Skillet Dip

1. Stage

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add shallots and cook until soft, 3 to 4 minutes. Add thyme and cook until fragrant, 1 minute more. Season with salt and pepper. Heat oven broiler to medium.

2. Stage

Add tomatoes and heavy cream and bring up to a simmer. Stir in parmesan until melted, season with salt and pepper, then turn off heat and top with mozzarella. Broil until cheese is golden and tomatoes are beginning to char, 2 to 3 minutes.

Garnish with basil and serve hot with bread on the side.
