1. Macintosh apples - peeled, cored and chopped 4
2. Butter 1 tablespoon
3. Onion, finely chopped 1
4. Garlic, crushed 2 cloves
5. Curry powder 1 tablespoon
6. Ground cumin 1 teaspoon
7. Pumpkin Puree 1 (15 ounce) can
8. Chicken broth 4 cups
9. Water 1 cup
10. White sugar 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Curried Pumpkin Soup

1 . Stage

Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, curry, and cumin; saute, stirring often, until onion is soft and fragrant.

2 . Stage

Stir in apples, pumpkin, broth, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3 . Stage

Puree soup in a food processor or a blender.

4 . Stage

Return soup to saucepan; reheat, covered, over low heat.
