1. 1-1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice -
2. 1 medium onion, chopped -
3. 3 tablespoons butter -
4. 3 cups chicken broth -
5. 3/4 teaspoon each dried basil, marjoram, thyme and sage -
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
7. 1/2 teaspoon curry powder -

How to cook deliciously - Curried Rice

1. Stage

In a large saucepan, saute rice and onion in butter for 5 minutes. Stir in broth and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 18-22 minutes or until rice is tender.
