4. Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
5. Ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon
6. Ground cumin ½ teaspoon
7. Lemon juice, or as needed 1 tablespoon
8. Plain soy milk 2 cups
9. Apple butter ½ cup
10. Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
11. Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
12. Salt ¼ teaspoon
13. Soft-crust French bread 12 (1/2 inch thick) slices

How to cook deliciously - Dairy-Free Apple French Toast

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Saute apples until softened, 5 to 7 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cumin and cook until tender, stirring occasionally, 5 to 10 minutes more. Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.
