Ingredients for - Easy Potato Sausage Soup

1. Onions, chopped - 2
2. Margarine - ½ cup
3. Diced potatoes - 4 cups
4. Frozen diced carrots - 1 (10 ounce) package
5. Polish sausage, sliced - 1 pound
6. Green bell pepper, chopped - 1
7. Water - 3 cups
8. Salt - 1 teaspoon
9. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
10. Milk - 3 cups
11. Dry potato flakes - ¾ cup

How to cook deliciously - Easy Potato Sausage Soup

1. Stage

Using a large saucepan, brown onion in butter.

2. Stage

Add potatoes, carrots, green peppers, sausage, water, salt and pepper. Cook on low, for about 45 minutes or until the potatoes are creamy.

3. Stage

Add milk and cook until heated through and then add instant potato flakes. If you want a creamy potato soup add a 1/2 cup potato flakes, or if you want your soup thick like stew add 1 cup of potato flakes.

4. Stage

Let soup sit for approximately 5 minutes in order to thicken and then serve.
