2. Water - 2 cups
3. Mixed vegetables, drained - 2 (15 ounce) cans
4. Cooked, cubed chicken breast meat - ¾ pound
5. Red potatoes, diced - 2 medium
6. Celery, diced - 1 large stalk
7. Onion, diced - ½ medium
8. Chicken soup base - 1 tablespoon
9. Poultry seasoning, or to taste - ¼ teaspoon
10. Ground black pepper to taste - ¼ teaspoon
11. Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
12. Water, or as needed - ¼ cup

1. Stage

Combine milk, water, mixed vegetables, chicken, potatoes, celery, onion, soup base, poultry seasoning, and pepper in a large soup pot; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer.

Remove 1 cup liquid to a bowl; add cornstarch and mix until combined. Add cornstarch mixture back to the soup.
