Ingredients for - Easy Pasta Fagioli

1. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
2. Carrot, diced - 1
3. Celery, diced - 1 stalk
4. Onion, diced - 1 thin slice
5. Chopped garlic - ½ teaspoon
6. Tomato sauce - 4 (8 ounce) cans
7. Chicken broth - 1 (14 ounce) can
8. Dried parsley - 1 tablespoon
9. Dried basil leaves - ½ tablespoon
10. Freshly ground black pepper to taste - ½ tablespoon
11. Ditalini pasta - 1 ½ cups
12. Cannellini beans, drained and rinsed - 1 (15 ounce) can

How to cook deliciously - Easy Pasta Fagioli

1. Stage

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add carrot, celery, and onion; cook and stir until soft. Add garlic and sauté briefly. Stir in tomato sauce, chicken broth, parsley, basil, and pepper; simmer for 20 minutes.

2. Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ditalini pasta and cook for 8 minutes or until al dente; drain.

3. Stage

Add beans and cooked pasta to soup; simmer until heated through, 1 or 2 minutes.
