1. Water - 2 ½ quarts
2. Dried brown lentils - 1 pound
3. Baby spinach, or to taste - 1 cup
4. Diced onion - ½ cup
5. Diced celery - ½ cup
6. Diced carrots - ½ cup
7. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
8. Salt - 2 teaspoons
9. Onion Powder - 1 teaspoon
10. Ground black pepper - ¼ teaspoon
11. Liquid aminos (such as Bragg®) - 3 dashes

How to cook deliciously - Easy Weeknight Lentil Soup

1. Stage

Place water, lentils, spinach, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, salt, onion powder, pepper, and liquid aminos in a large soup pot. Bring to a rapid boil, then turn down to a simmer. Cover and cook until lentils are done but not mushy, 25 to 30 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning.
