1. Panko bread crumbs ⅓ cup
2. Egg, beaten 1 large
3. Chopped fresh parsley 3 tablespoons
4. Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons
5. Seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®) 2 teaspoons
6. Yellow mustard 1 teaspoon
7. Cooked lump crabmeat, drained ½ pound
8. Panko bread crumbs, or as needed ¼ cup
9. Coconut oil 2 tablespoons
10. Mayonnaise ½ cup
11. Canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce 1
12. Adobo sauce from chipotle peppers 1 tablespoon
13. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Fried Crab Cakes

1 . Stage

Mix 1/3 cup panko, egg, parsley, mayonnaise, seafood seasoning, and mustard together in a medium bowl. Gently fold in crabmeat. Form into 4 patties and coat with remaining panko.

2 . Stage

Heat coconut oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Fry patties until crispy, flipping once, about 12 minutes total.

3 . Stage

While patties cook, prepare the sauce: Combine mayonnaise, chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, and lemon juice in the bowl of a food processor; process until smooth.

Serve crab cakes with sauce on the side.
