1. Seashell pasta - 1 (8 ounce) package
2. Mayonnaise - 1 cup
3. Chopped deseeded dill pickles - ½ cup
4. Finely chopped red onion - ¼ cup
5. Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
6. Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
7. Hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®) - ½ teaspoon
8. Dried dill, or to taste - ½ teaspoon
9. Kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste - ½ teaspoon
10. Diced Cheddar cheese - 6 ounces

1. Stage

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add shells and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 9 minutes. Drain. Rinse with cold water, drain, and set aside.

2. Stage

Combine mayonnaise, pickles, onion, lemon juice, mustard, hot sauce, dill weed, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Stir in the cooled pasta and Cheddar cheese.
