2. Ricotta cheese - ½ cup
3. Italian-seasoned bread crumbs - ½ cup
4. Chopped fresh basil - ¼ cup
5. Egg, slightly beaten - 1 large
6. Salt - ½ teaspoon
7. Freshly ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
