3. Stewed tomatoes, undrained 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
4. Sweet potato (garnet yam), cut into small cubes 1 small
5. Chopped onion ½ cup
6. Garlic, minced, or more to taste 6 cloves
7. Bay leaves 2
8. Yellow curry powder 1 teaspoon
9. Cumin seeds ½ teaspoon
10. Kosher salt ½ teaspoon
11. Cream 1 pint

1 . Stage

Combine broth and lentils in a large pot over medium-high heat; bring to a boil.
