1. Diced tomatoes, undrained - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
2. Onion, sliced - 1 large
3. Beef broth - 1 cup
4. Coconut milk - 1 cup
5. Curry powder - 3 tablespoons
6. Garlic, pressed - 3 cloves
7. Bay leaves - 2
8. Minced fresh ginger root - 1 teaspoon
9. Cayenne pepper, or more to taste (Optional) - 1 teaspoon
10. Whole star anise - 1
11. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1
12. Flank steak - 1 (1 1/2-pound)
13. Lime, juiced - ½

How to cook deliciously - Spicy Slow Cooker Beef Curry

1. Stage

Combine diced tomatoes with their juices, onion, beef broth, coconut milk, curry powder, garlic, bay leaves, ginger, cayenne pepper, star anise, salt, and pepper in the bottom of a slow cooker. Stir to combine. Add flank steak to the mixture.

2. Stage

Cover and cook on Low until beef is tender and cooked through, about 8 hours. Add lime juice just prior to serving.
