1. Ground turkey - ½ pound
2. Chopped onion - ⅓ cup
3. Chopped celery - ⅓ cup
4. Garlic, finely chopped - 1 clove
5. Chicken broth - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
6. Fire-roasted diced tomatoes with juice - 1 (14.5 ounce) can
7. Tomato paste - 3 tablespoons
8. Worcestershire sauce - 2 teaspoons
9. Dried thyme - ½ teaspoon
10. Dried oregano - ½ teaspoon
11. Bay leaf - 1 large
12. Salt and ground black pepper to taste -
13. Frozen mixed vegetables - 1 cup
14. Cooked white rice - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Ground Turkey Soup with White Rice

1. Stage

Combine ground turkey, onion, celery, and garlic in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute until turkey is cooked through and browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain fat from the saucepan.

Add chicken broth, fire-roasted tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes.

Stir in frozen vegetables and rice and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf and serve.
