1. Ground turkey ½ pound
2. Chopped onion ⅓ cup
3. Chopped celery ⅓ cup
4. Garlic, finely chopped 1 clove
5. Chicken broth 1 (14.5 ounce) can
6. Fire-roasted diced tomatoes with juice 1 (14.5 ounce) can
7. Tomato paste 3 tablespoons
8. Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons
9. Dried thyme ½ teaspoon
10. Dried oregano ½ teaspoon
11. Bay leaf 1 large
12. Salt and ground black pepper to taste
13. Frozen mixed vegetables 1 cup
14. Cooked white rice ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Ground Turkey Soup with White Rice

1 . Stage

Combine ground turkey, onion, celery, and garlic in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute until turkey is cooked through and browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain fat from the saucepan.

Add chicken broth, fire-roasted tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes.

Stir in frozen vegetables and rice and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf and serve.
