1. Unsalted butter, softened - 1 cup
2. White sugar - 1 cup
3. Anise extract - 1 teaspoon
4. Lemon extract - 1 teaspoon
5. Eggs - 3 large
6. All-purpose flour - 3 cups
7. Baking powder - 3 teaspoons
8. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
9. Powdered sugar - 1 cup
10. Milk - 2 tablespoons
11. Multicolored candy sprinkles, or to taste - 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Italian Cookies with Sprinkles

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Stir in anise extract and lemon extract. Blend in eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl; blend into egg mixture until dough is almost crumbly but stays together when you roll it in your hands.

Form dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
