5. Lime, zested and juiced - 1
6. Salt - ½ teaspoon
7. Confectioners' sugar - 1 cup
8. Lime juice - ¼ cup
9. Grated fresh jalapeno, or more to taste - ½ tablespoon
10. Lime, zested - 1

How to cook deliciously - Jalapeno-Lime Shortbread Cookies

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Mix flour, butter, sugar, jalapeno, lime zest and juice, and salt together in a large bowl.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with a thumb print to accommodate icing.
