Ingredients for - Kachumbari

1. Red onion, diced 1 medium
2. Sea salt 2 teaspoons
3. Tomatoes, diced 4 medium
4. Cucumber, peeled and diced ½ medium
5. Chopped cilantro ¼ cup
6. Jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced 1
7. Avocado - peeled, pitted and diced 1
8. Lime, juiced, or to taste 1
9. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 1

How to cook deliciously - Kachumbari

1 . Stage

Place the onion in a medium bowl, cover with water, and stir in sea salt. Soak for 30 minutes; drain well for 10 minutes.

2 . Stage

Stir the drained onion, tomatoes, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeno, and avocado together in a large bowl. Squeeze lime juice over the salad to taste and season with salt and pepper.
