Ingredients for - Kachumbari

1. Red onion, diced - 1 medium
2. Sea salt - 2 teaspoons
3. Tomatoes, diced - 4 medium
4. Cucumber, peeled and diced - ½ medium
5. Chopped cilantro - ¼ cup
6. Jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced - 1
7. Avocado - peeled, pitted and diced - 1
8. Lime, juiced, or to taste - 1
9. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste - 1

How to cook deliciously - Kachumbari

1. Stage

Place the onion in a medium bowl, cover with water, and stir in sea salt. Soak for 30 minutes; drain well for 10 minutes.

2. Stage

Stir the drained onion, tomatoes, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeno, and avocado together in a large bowl. Squeeze lime juice over the salad to taste and season with salt and pepper.
