1. 3 c. leftover mashed sweet potatoes
2. 1 15-oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
3. 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
4. 1 clove garlic, minced
5. Pinch of cayenne
6. Kosher salt
7. Toasted pita, for serving

In food processor fitted with metal blade or blender, pulse mashed sweet potatoes, chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, and cayenne until smooth.
