In the same pan, melt the butter, add a spoonful of sugar, stir until the sugar is dissolved, then put chopped onions in half rings and fry for 5-7 minutes, stirring. Then put it on a napkin, for 3 minutes, to drain the excess. The onions will be soft, but not mushy. It will taste sweet. Very unusual and delicious. BUT it's not to your liking!
