Ingredients for - Mincemeat

1. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
2. Ground cloves - 1 teaspoon
3. Ground ginger - 1 teaspoon
4. Ground nutmeg - 1 teaspoon
5. Ground allspice - 1 teaspoon
6. Green apple, peeled and finely chopped - 1 large
7. Sultana raisins - 1 ¼ cups
8. White sugar - 1 ⅛ cups
9. Dried currants - ½ cup
10. Raisins - ½ cup
11. Butter - ½ cup
12. Chopped almonds - ½ cup
13. Grated orange zest - 1 ½ tablespoons
14. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
15. Brandy - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Mincemeat

1. Stage

Prepare mixed spice: Combine cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice in a bowl. Reserve 1 heaped teaspoon for the mincemeat. Store the rest in a small jar for a later use.
