Ingredients for - Mixed Greens with Nuts and Dried Fruit

1. 1 c. walnuts (about 4 ounces)
2. 1 c. pecan halves (about 4 ounces)
3. 1 shallot
4. 1/4 c. sherry vinegar
5. 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
6. 6 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
7. 1/4 c. walnut oil
8. Salt and freshly ground pepper
9. 4 bag washed salad greens
10. 1 c. dried pears (4 ounces)
11. 1 c. dried cranberries (4 ounces)

How to cook deliciously - Mixed Greens with Nuts and Dried Fruit

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spread the nuts on a large baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden and fragrant. Let cool, then coarsely chop.

In a large bowl, combine the shallot, vinegar and mustard. Whisk in the olive oil and walnut oil in a thin, steady stream. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the mixed greens, nuts and dried pears and cranberries to the bowl and toss. Serve immediately.
