2. 2 tbsp. white-wine vinegar -
3. 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard -
4. Coarse salt -
5. Ground pepper -
6. 2 can oil-packed tuna -
7. 1/4 English cucumber -
8. 1/2 small red onion -
9. 1 country style round bread loaf -
10. 3 tbsp. jarred olive tapenade -
11. 1 c. fresh basil leaves -
12. 2 hard-cooked eggs -

How to cook deliciously - Tuna Niçoise Sandwich

1. Stage

In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, white-wine vinegar, and Dijon mustard; season with coarse salt and ground pepper. Transfer 2 tablespoons dressing to another bowl; toss with tuna. To remaining dressing, add cucumber and red onion; toss to combine.

2. Stage

Cut an country-style round bread loaf in half horizontally; remove most of soft interior bread. Spread olive tapenade on bottom half. Top with basil leaves, then hard-cooked eggs; season with salt and pepper. Top with tuna, then cucumber mixture, and close sandwich.

3. Stage

Wrap sandwich tightly in plastic and place between two baking sheets. Weight with a heavy skillet. Let stand 1 hour (or refrigerate, up to overnight). To serve, cut into quarters.
