1. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened -
2. 3/4 cup sugar -
3. 1 large egg, room temperature -
4. 2 teaspoons grated orange zest -
5. 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest -
6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract -
7. 1 teaspoon orange extract -
8. 1 cup all-purpose flour -
9. 5 teaspoons cornstarch -
10. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda -
11. 1/4 teaspoon salt -
12. Thin orange or lemon peel strips, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Orange & Lemon Wafer Cookies

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in egg, orange zest, lemon zest and extracts. In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture.

2. Stage

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto parchment-lined baking sheets. If desired, top with orange peel strips.

3. Stage

Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.
