1. 4 cups sliced fresh plums (about 1-1/2 pounds) -
2. 1 tablespoon lemon juice -
3. 1/2 cup sugar -
4. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour -
5. 1/4 teaspoon salt -
6. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon -
7. 1 frozen deep-dish pie crust (9 inches) -
8. Topping: -
9. 1/2 cup sugar -
10. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour -
11. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon -
12. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg -
13. 3 tablespoons cold butter -

How to cook deliciously - Purple Plum Pie

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, sprinkle plums with lemon juice. Combine sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Add to plums; toss gently to coat. Pour into pie shell.

2. Stage

For topping, in a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling.

3. Stage

Bake until filling is bubbly, 50-60 minutes. Cover edge loosely with foil during the last 20 minutes if needed to prevent overbrowning. Cool on a wire rack.
