Ingredients for - Puttanesca I

1. Pasta - 8 ounces
2. Olive oil - ½ cup
3. Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
4. Chopped tomatoes, pushed through a sieve - 2 cups
5. Anchovy filets, rinsed and chopped - 4
6. Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
7. Capers - 3 tablespoons
8. Greek olives, pitted and coarsely chopped - 20
9. Crushed red pepper flakes - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Puttanesca I

1. Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

2. Stage

Heat oil in a skillet over low heat; cook garlic in oil until golden. Add sieved tomatoes, and cook 5 minutes. Stir in anchovies, tomato paste, capers, olives, and red pepper flakes. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Stage

Toss pasta with sauce, and serve.
