1. 1 tbsp. olive oil -
2. 2 cloves garlic, minced -
3. 1 c. salsa verde -
4. 1 (8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened -
5. 2 c. shredded mozzarella -
6. 1/3 c. sour cream -
7. 1 tbsp. chopped cilantro, plus more for garnish -
8. Kosher salt -
9. Freshly ground black pepper -
10. 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional) -
11. Pickled jalapeños, for garish -
12. Tortilla chips, for serving -

How to cook deliciously - Salsa Verde Queso

1. Stage

In a small skillet or small saucepan over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in salsa verde and bring mixture to a simmer.

2. Stage

Add cream cheese, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, and cook until melted. Add mozzarella, sour cream, and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper and cook until cheeses have melted, about 5 minutes.

3. Stage

Remove from heat and sprinkle with red pepper flakes, if using. Garnish with pickled jalapeños and more chopped cilantro. Serve warm with tortilla chips, for dipping.
